Banking Hub Details and Opening Times
A temporary banking hub has been set up in Vibe 75 which will be open at the following times with the following banks
Monday Royal Bank of Scotland 9-5
Tuesday- No bank
Wednesday- No bank
Thursday Barclays 9-5
Friday- Bank of Scotland 9-5
The services available from these banks will be general enquiries, changes to direct debits and help with moving and opening accounts.
There is a Post Office Counter which will be providing cash services for all major banks, but they will not be dealing with mail or postal services. These will continue to be provided at the main Post Office which will remain open at its usual times. The counter will be staffed by Newton Stewart Post Office staff. This means that the ladies will be already known to the customers. The Post Office Counter at the Banking Hub is in addition to the current Post Office which will continue in its present form both as a Post Office and Gift Shop. To accommodate this, they have taken on an additional worker.
A permanent banking hub is currently in the process of being built.
The Post Office Counter will move to the permanent place along with the banks once the premises are ready. They have now started work on it and customers will be advised when the permanent site is opening
The temporary banking hub will be open whilst Vibe 75 is still open as a community hub for events running through the week, so please bear this in mind. Vibe 75 is a community hub, and the banking hub is offering a much-needed service, albeit temporary, so if you are needing a space that is private and exclusive, we can accommodate that in the evenings and weekends currently. Once the temporary hub moves into its permanent hub then Vibe 75 will continue in its role as a community space that can be hired through the week. Current day and evening leases within Vibe 75 are not affected by the temporary Banking Hub.
