NSI has recently received funding from the Community Led Local Development Fund and the Scottish Land Fund to engage the expertise of Community Enterprise to engage with residents on what they would like to see from Vibe 75. Our vision is to create a community hub downstairs and a dedicated youthwork space upstairs. Whilst we currently lease the building we are looking to purchase it through the Scottish Land Fund and part of that process is to do community consultations, feasability studies and create a business plan for Vibe 75.
Although the Scottish Land Fund stage 2 applications won’t be opening until spring/summer 2026 this piece of work is a valuable part of enabling NSI to apply for funds to move the project forward and delivering what residents would like to see the building used for.
Community Enterprise will be starting the community consultation in the next few weeks. This will look like paper surveys, online surveys, drop ins, focus groups and interviews with key stakeholders. We will be sharing the information on here and on our Facebook page, as well as emailing members and keeping you all updated.
