NSI are currently planning our next events flyer and we are looking for events and advertisers to contribute and share what is happening in the DG8 area between end of September 2025-February 2026
Our last flyer was funded by Kilgallioch Community Benefit Company. The funding allowed us to get the last flyer designed, printed and delivered to every household in the DG8 area, with some spare to be put in venues in and around the DG8 area. We include weekly/fortnightly and monthly activities as well as one off events. We had 18 advertisers in the last flyer sharing their services and products across the DG8 area.
8000 copies were printed and distributed in March 2025. The main reason we started doing this was because when we did the Local Place Plan back in 2023 many residents felt they didn’t know what was going on in town or the surrounding areas, so we decided to create a flyer to share the many amazing things happening in Newton Stewart and our local area. We even managed to create a digital copy that was posted on the Newton Stewart.org website, you can find it here
The website www.newtonstewart.org has approx 2500 views per month, so as well as getting your business/activities out to those in paper format, it is also on the website for people to see.
