Newton Stewart Initiative have been working closely with the Newton Stewart and District Town Twinning Association to create a new website, flyer and logo for the group. The Newton Stewart and District Town Twinning group was established in 2013 and has been run by volunteers for the last twelve years. With trips to Marcoussis and visitors coming to Newton Stewart from Marcoussis, the group have formed strong bonds with the people and town in France.
