NSI CAT for Old Town Hall, Newton Stewart approved by Wigtown Area Committee
The Community Asset Transfer by NSI for the Old Town Hall has been approved by the Wigtown Area Committee. It now needs to go to the Economy and Infrastructure Committee on the 4th of June to be rubber stamped. Paperwork and legal agreements will be drawn up for NSI to sign prior to taking ownership of the building. We will be running consultations in due course on what you would like to see in the building. Our vision is that it is a central information point for residents and visitors. We will update you after June 4th with the Economy and Infrastructure Committee decision.
