Vibe 75 is a two storey building in the heart of Newton Stewart high street. Previously known as Cinnamon Cafe and owned by Janette and Angus Tait. NSI was given a lease on the building in May 2023 to set up a community hub. The ground floor is currently being used by a variety of groups including CVCC. Markets are run on a nearly weekly basis- produce and craft, clothes and carless boot sales.
NSI’s vision is to turn the upstairs into a dedicated youthwork space. NSI have received funding from the Scottish Land Fund and Community Led Local Development Fund to employ Community Enterprise to conduct community consultations, feasability studies, technical surveys and a business plan for Vibe 75.
