Newton Stewart Initiative relaunched its youthwork programme at the beginning of 2023. Employing several youth workers to help tackle anti social behaviour in the town, the youthwork has gone from strength to strength. It has been made possible by building a close relationship with Youthworks DG, which is run by Laura Kiltie.
Laura has just won a national award for Youth Worker of the Year at the National Youth Work Awards held in Glasgow and we wanted to publicly congratulate her on this and thank her for all of the hard work that she puts into youthwork in Newton Stewart and the surrounding areas.
