Newton Stewart Initiative are currently completing a Stage 2 Asset Transfer request to take over the Town Clock building.
If successful, we will use the ground floor offices as our administration base. We intend to provide various services such as a local jobs board, tourist information point, community groups support desk, management office for Vibe 75, bus information and community events promotion among other things.
The snooker club, one of the longest established clubs in the area, will remain on the first floor of the building if the transfer is approved by Dumfries and Galloway Council.
